We have always recognised our drivers as an integral part of our team. Probably the best ambassadors any logistics company can have. We would like to think we have always treated our drivers as the professional key workers they are.
The driving team have always been paid well, in fact we are regarded as the company who pay the highest rates in South Wales. We feel our attitude to this essential part of our organisation has allowed us to be able to not only retain the team but increase it substantially.
We offer them total inclusion and invite them to monthly meetings including the driver spokespersons weekly catch-up with the MD in order to listen to all their queries, questions and concerns.
The drivers are the last person / representative our clients customers will see. That should never be undervalued or taken for granted and their continued efforts during the current climate should not go unnoticed.
