Transport to and from Italy disrupted by second Italian earthquake

May 30th, 2012

Second Italian earthquake hits overnight

We have been advised that a second earthquake hit Italy last night. The Emilia Romagna region is affected including Modena, Bologna, Reggio Emilia and Parma.

Most companies are now closed and residential areas evacuated. At this time there are no International or Domestic transportation vehicles moving.

This does mean delays and backlogs if you have freight going to, or coming from Italy.

United Worldwide Logistics can assist you during this time by keeping you updated.

We must also remember the people that have lost their lives.
